ISLAMARIJUANA: Are Suicidal Thoughts something that Palestinian Children and Drug Users have in Common?
Palestinian suicide bombers are being indoctrinated at very young ages to believe that by martyring themselves while killing Jews, they will be awarded in the afterlife. This necessarily leads to a belief that murder is a virtuous act. A consequence of that, in many cases, is depression. Researcher Ted Shoebat draws some interesting comparisons between the effects of Islam on its followers and how a drug like marijuana affects those who use it.
For example, while pointing to a Palestinian psychologist in a documentary, Shoebat relays that man's claims – over 50% of children between the ages of 6 and 11 actually dream of becoming suicide bombers. This happens as a direct result of having their minds altered in much the same way that a drug does it. The difference is one is repetitive suggestion and the other is physical.
Shoebat's subsequent claim is that when children are brought up to fantasize about murder being a good thing, it invariably leads to depression. The repitition of thought can also act as an hallucinogenic drug. A drug like marijuana, for example, is considered a mild hallucinogen. This means that it gives a distorted view of reality to those who use it.
The comparison between Islam and marijuana may, at first, seem to be quite a leap; Without the statistics to back him up, Shoebat concedes it's a debate that could go on forever. Those statistics, according to Shoebat, support his claim that the indoctrination of Palestinian children into martrydom shares many similarities with repeated use of marijuana.
Citing statistics from the “Media Campaign Fact Sheets on Marijuana and Mental Health”, Shoebat points to research that shows teens between the ages of 12 and 17 are three times more likely to have thoughts about suicide than are their counterparts who do not use the drug. Some may argue that the drug use is a symptom of an underlying problem and not the cause; tell that to those who successfully complete rehab.
Furthermore, the statistics show that more frequent use of marijuana (weekly) doubles the risk of depression. Palestinian children who are bred to become suicide bombers are fed an intense daily dose of brainwashing that necessarily alters their minds in much more dangerous ways.
In either case, there is no dispute that brainwashing, indoctrination, and repeated drug use share one thing in common; they all alter the mind, steering it away from reality. If the effects of any two are the same, for example, increased thoughts of suicide, should further study be done? Moreover, if suicidal thoughts increase with more frequent drug use and thoughts of suicide missions increase with repetitive brainwashing, is there really that much difference between the effects of Islam and those of marijuana?

ABOUT THEODORE (TED) SHOEBAT…
Theodore (Ted) Shoebat is the son of Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist. At age 16, Ted released his first book In Satan’s Footsteps, which is now soon to have a follow up, For God or For Tyranny, to be released toward the end of this month. Ted grew up in the U.S., in Northern California, attending the public school system. Because of his conservative and religious upbringing, he often struggled with his teachers and fellow students. He personally witnessed Holocaust denial, anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism in the schools and his defense of Israel and the Jewish people made him a victim of ridicule and mockery.
At such a young age, Ted was inspired due to challenges and frustrations he faced from public schools he attended. Not only was he bombarded with criticism for his conservative and religious beliefs, but they also attempted to squelch his expression by labeling him with a psychological condition known as Asberger’s syndrome.
Though the educational community thought it a stigma, Ted took it with pride, since it is said that Bill Gates and Albert Einstein were also diagnosed with Asberger’s, a personality that includes such positive human behaviors as loyalty, honesty and bluntness. Ted is the primary contributor for this amazing work of research and polemic—For God or For Tyranny. It is a timely work, based on the current state of our nation and the pivot point in the direction that America might take. What is even more amazing is Ted Shoebat is only 18 years old as this book goes to publication.
ABOUT SHOEBAT’S BOOK, FOR GOD OR FOR TYRANNY: WHEN NATIONS DENY GOD’S NATURAL LAW…
This book picks up where the best selling book Liberty and Tyranny left off, a Judeo Christian polemic on why God is vital in the equation of freedom for America and humanity. Best-selling author Walid Shoebat and his son Ted Shoebat (only 18 years old at the time of publication) have written an extraordinary book on anti-God ideologies, comparing them to countries that base their laws on Judeo Christian principals. As America and many Western nations seem to desire to move away from their Judeo Christian foundations and embrace multi-culturalism, this book gives all the answers to dispel all the anti-God myths and equip people to stand for their Judeo Christian heritage.
