CONFESSION OR DENIAL: Will Western Civilization deny itself out of Existence or Face the Music?
After WWII, the Nazi perpetrators were brought to justice and the country came face to face with what it had done, confessed, and healed. In fact, it became a crime in Germany to deny that Hitler’s holocaust took place.
Conversely, in WWI the Ottoman Turks committed genocide of the Armenians in a holocaust of its own. To this day, Muslims in that region deny a holocaust took place and it is actually forbidden to discuss it.
Ted Shoebat, son of former Muslim terrorist turned Christian, Walid Shoebat is convinced that the difference between Germany and the Islamic world is simple. “It comes down to an act of confession,” he says.
Shoebat sees this principle at work in the United States government lately as well. Politicians seem to be more interested in pushing their agenda and denying the will of the people. Despite dramatic public opposition to the proposed healthcare legislation, congress comes across as determined to push it through rather than accept what they view as defeat. The Acorn scandal provides an example of this. Several of their offices have been caught on video offering to help an alleged pimp and prostitute smuggle illegal teenage aliens into the United States so they could start a brothel. Acorn continues to defend istelf and attack those who have a problem with such behavior. There are even audio recordings allegedly of an Acorn representative named David Lagstein saying he has been in touch with the Attorney General’s office and that fault will be found with the filmmakers and not Acorn (link below).
Climategate is another example. By all accounts, it looks like the global warming alarmists have been caught manipulating data, intimidating those with opposing views, squashing Freedom of Information requests, and destroying data. Yet, desite this apparently overwhelming evidence, the proponents of Climate change are refusing to acknowledge this problem and are actually moving forward with the Copenhagen summit. In fact, Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) is calling for charges to be brought up on the individual that hacked into the server and released the emails (link below).
As Americans across the country continue to shake their heads at what their government is doing, Shoebat says the answer is uncomfortable and difficlut to accept but easy to understand. It’s what separates pride from humility; it’s what separates confession from denial. “You have to decide if you’re For God or if you’re For Tyranny,” Shoebat says.

ABOUT THEODORE (TED) SHOEBAT…
Theodore (Ted) Shoebat is the son of Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist.
